Hansal Mehta's Daughter Faces Challenges with Aadhar Card Application

Director Hansal Mehta has shared his daughter's ongoing struggle to obtain her Aadhar card on X. Despite multiple visits to the Aadhar Card office in Mumbai, she has encountered repeated setbacks, with senior management sending her away for various reasons. Mehta described the situation as 'harassment,' noting that the issue has persisted for three weeks.

In his post, Mehta wrote, "My daughter has been attempting to apply for an Aadhar card for the past three weeks. Even in the rain, she visited the Aadhar office in Andheri East, only to be repeatedly turned away by senior staff for reasons like missing signatures, incorrect document stamps, or lack of an appointment. The constant excuses and delays have been extremely frustrating and nothing short of harassment." 

He also tagged the CEO of UIDAI and the UIDAI handle on X, but received only an automated response. The reply read, "Dear Aadhaar number holder, please provide the full address of the Aadhaar center where you are experiencing issues, along with your contact details via direct message, and we will assist you further." Hansal Mehta has since sent them a direct message with the requested information.
